Elevate-CreaTE: a deep dive into creator

I came dancing and singing out of my mothers womb half a century ago with a paintbrush and a glue gun in my hands.  😂😇 But in all seriousness, my seeming unending creativity in a vast range of genres has been both a great blessing and a great weight.  Learning how to engage deeply with God, sense His voice clearly has brought balance and, believe it or not, much added creativity.  I’ve learned that the creative part of my mind is the very part that has caused me to be sensitive to nuanced and non-linear understandings, such as the Holy Spirit gives.  Out of all the genres I’ve explored or studied- from dance to photography to music to painting to sculpture- my favorite genre by far is people; I love pulling the creative best out of others! 

I am a working artist (making it a business since age 12) and I majored in Visual Presentation and Space Design at the Fashion Insitute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco.  I have taught art at my own art and sound gallery as well as at a number of schools and one-time events.  I founded the former non-profit, Christian Artist Network, and was a missionary for the organization throughout Los Angeles (& “Hollywood”), making an impact on the global hub of creativity and pop culture.  I also partnered with an organization in Mexico to use my creative designs to bring cottage industry income to single moms in  impoverished areas.  I lead worship at Nevada house of prayer and have held regional worship gatherings in the Reno area.  I continue to minister through music, dance, live (painting) art, and teaching at churches, conferences and events.

This class is a compilation of modules and lessons learned through life, art school, mentors, and many that God has directly downloaded.  The majority of the modules explore different facets of creativity, and in so doing, we incline our hearts to Creator to lead us past our present limits. 

 I have taught individual modules at various women’s retreats, churches, and events and now I have compiled them together for one very impactful and life changing experience.

 So many of the lessons are ones I have learned the long and hard way,.  From my own life lessons, and both natural and learned gifts I am infusing massive value to shorten some of the learning curve for you.  May my ceiling be your floor!!! May you become more fearless, loving, inventive, faithful, ingenuitive, playful, creative, relational, and God centered than ever before!
